Waddle
A community-driven event and place discovery platform that helps parents find, recommend, review, and book trusted children-focused experiences.
Product Overview
Waddle is a live multi-sided platform available on iOS and Android. It connects parents with trusted events and places for children, enables event organisers to manage listings and bookings, and provides admins with tools to moderate content, resolve disputes, and manage revenue.
The product was designed with safety, trust, and ease of use as core principles.
My Role
Product Designer - I led end-to-end UX and UI design across the parent app, organiser experience, and admin dashboard. This included research, user flows, wireframes, UI design, and collaboration with developers to support a live launch.
The Opportunity
Parents need reliable ways to find safe, age-appropriate activities.
Event organisers need visibility and simple booking tools.
Admins need control over content, safety, and platform operations.
Most platforms only solve one side of this problem. Waddle was an opportunity to design a single system that balances all three.
The Problem
Parent Challenges
Parents rely on informal recommendations.
Existing platforms lack trust and moderation.
Parents want real community feedback before booking.
Because Waddle serves families and children, trust and safety were non-negotiable. Every feature had to support moderation, transparency, and real-world use at scale.
This product was designed for production, not concept validation.

Organiser Challenges
Organisers struggle to reach the right parents.
Booking management is often fragmented.
There is limited insight into performance.
Admin Challenges
Children-focused platforms require strict safety control.
Unmoderated content creates risk.
Disputes and revenue must be handled centrally.

Why This Project Matters
Waddle demonstrates my ability to design live, multi-sided platforms that balance user needs, business goals, and safety. It reflects strong product thinking beyond interface design.
